01 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TaniaPDFTool ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and other parties who access or use the Service. By creating an account or processing any file, you represent that you are at least 16 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

02 Description of Service

TaniaPDFTool provides online tools for processing PDF and document files, including but not limited to merging, splitting, compressing, converting, watermarking, and password-protecting files.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

03 Accounts & Registration

Some features require a registered account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your password and not share credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.

04 Acceptable Use

You may use TaniaPDFTool only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Upload files you do not have the legal right to process
• Use the Service to infringe copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
• Attempt to circumvent our security measures or gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Use automated scripts to abuse free-tier limits or scrape the platform
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
• Upload files containing illegal content, including CSAM or content that promotes violence

05 Intellectual Property

Your files: You retain full ownership of all files you upload. By uploading, you grant TaniaPDFTool a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process and store your files solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you. We claim no ownership over your content.

Our platform: The TaniaPDFTool name, logo, website design, and underlying software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without written permission.

06 Payment & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• Prices are listed in USD and exclude any applicable local taxes
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as outlined in our Refund Policy
• We will email you 7 days before any price changes take effect
• Downgrading or cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Failed payments may result in service interruption after a 3-day grace period

07 Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaniaPDFTool shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

08 Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings page. Upon cancellation:

• Your access to paid features ends at the close of the current billing period
• Your files will be deleted according to the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy
• Account data will be deleted within 90 days of cancellation unless required by law

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, without obligation to provide a refund.

09 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

For minor changes (typos, formatting, clarifications that don't alter your rights), we'll update the "Last updated" date without separate notification.

10 Governing Law & Contact

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
